Who we are

Boomerang (operated by App Launchers, LLC) provides scheduling and patient-communication software to dental practices. Dental practices use Boomerang to help their existing patients schedule recommended treatment, including by text message and AI-assisted voice conversations.

Information we collect

• Practice account information — names, work email addresses, and roles of dental-practice staff who use the platform.
• Patient contact information provided by your dental practice — such as your name, mobile phone number, and recommended treatment, supplied to us by the practice you already have a relationship with, solely so the practice can communicate with you.
• Communication records — records of messages sent and received through the platform and of scheduling conversations, maintained on behalf of your dental practice.

How we use information

We use this information only to provide the service to dental practices and their patients: delivering appointment-related messages, facilitating scheduling conversations, and maintaining records for the practice. We do not use patient information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

SMS / text messaging

Boomerang sends appointment-related text messages on behalf of dental practices to patients who have consented to receive them. Consent is collected by your dental practice — for example, on a patient intake or registration form, or verbally with front-desk staff — and applies to appointment-related messages such as scheduling links, confirmations, and reminders.

• Message frequency varies with your appointment activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Opting out of text messages does not affect your relationship with your dental practice — they can still reach you by other means.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Health information

Information handled on behalf of dental practices may include appointment and treatment details. We handle this information under our agreements with each practice and applicable law, use it only to provide the service, and restrict access to it.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with the dental practice you interact with and with the infrastructure providers we use to operate the service (such as cloud hosting and message delivery), each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Security and retention

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service to your dental practice or as required by law.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
• Contact your dental practice to review or correct the contact information they hold for you.
• Email us at mark@theapplaunchers.com with privacy questions or requests.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this address.
